  2. This band Nouvelle Vague did this great lounge cover of the Dead Kennedys’ “Too Drunk to Fuck” that you should check out. It was playing on the radio during one of the torture scenes in Robert Rodriguez’s “Planet Terror.” I’d like to hear a lounge treatment of Misfits’ “Teenagers from Mars.”

  3. I’ve actually been thinking lately that a Funk/Soul style cover of Marquee Moon would be completely awesome. Just listen to it, imagine the bass a little funkier, the drums livlier, and the twiddly guitar part as a horns section.
